Interested in Transforming YOUR art?
Become the artist that you were meant to be. There are no limits, only infinite possibilities.
Hi, I’m Gabriel Lipper.
Artist and Instructor for Creatives.
WITH OVER 30+ YEARS OF PAINTING EXPERIENCE, I’VE BUILT A LIFE DOING WHAT I LOVE— I CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO TAKE YOUR ART TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
This is where YOU belong.
Bridge the Gap between ABSTRACTION and REPRESENTATIONAL PAINTING.
8paint Infinite Arts is an internationally recognized fine arts community founded by figurative painter Gabriel Mark Lipper. Gabriel has taught hundreds of students to break down the barriers between abstract and representational art in his highly acclaimed course: Learning to See
Learn the Ways!
As both a classically trained and self-taught artist my career has been somewhat unconventional. In many ways, it mirrors the disrupted painting styles I teach today. As a professional painter, I want to guide you to experiencing YOUR own Journey that took me years to learn!
Express yourself through your art fully and freely, and master the skills you need to meld both abstract and representational styles. Take your paintings in any direction you choose.
Learning to See requires an open mind and a willingness to try new things. It’s through that channel of curiosity and the breaking down of preconceived notions that we discover what we are capable of achieving. This is YOUR Course.
“I thought it was a good length of time and there was plenty of well planned content. To be offered the extra two weeks (months) of discussion about our work at the end was really generous.” — Louise Kidd
What is the Learning to See Course?

Expand your creativity. There are no limits, only infinite possibilities.
Learning to See will develop your creative and critical thinking skills.
Why is it as artists we feel we must choose between abstraction and representationalism?
The course is a combination of video tutorials and practical assignments, delivered in jam-packed weekly modules. With guided support and live weekly feedback from Gabriel and his team, the group’s synergy inspires creative problem solving and pushes everyone’s art to the next level.
In addition to the pre-recorded content, each week there are interactive live Zoom calls, where students are encouraged to submit their work for review. Gabriel and his team answer questions and address principles in real-time during the Q&A’s. All of this content will be available to you for a full year so you can review, revisit and relearn. The course’s structure allows you to absorb the lessons quickly but unpack the content and apply the learning at your own pace.
“This was like learning to read, it opened a whole new universe for me.” – Rebecca Ardnt
“I loved this course. It was extremely well thought out and executed.” — Tess Winn
Learning to See teaches you how to observe your world and transform what you see into a cohesive body of gallery-worthy work.
Our primary objective is to teach you how to conceptualize, design, and produce a cohesive body of original artwork that you can be proud of.
You will be introduced to the core principles and techniques that Gabriel has used throughout his 25 years as a professional artist. Each module unpacks a different stage in this master artist’s process, moving seamlessly between abstraction and representation within his demonstrations.
As you move through the first 8 weeks of the program you will acquire an entire toolkit of new skills that you can apply to your painting practice. Throughout this process you will clarify your voice, strengthen your talents and begin to develop a signature style that is unique to you.
A deep dive into this course will enable you to realize your ideas with confidence. Painting will light you up, as it becomes alive and rich with self-expression. Stepping into your artistic power allows you to become the curator of your own vision, transformation, and liberation.
There is no other course like this.
The 8paint Infinite Arts Learning to See program delivers new methods and ideas based on Gabriel’s extensive career. Having suffered through the rigors of classical training he has come to combine this traditional academic approach with his own contemporary style and love of paint.
The program is divided into two 8-week segments. The first is an intense phase of learning, practice and feedback. The second 8-weeks is a gentler paced opportunity to implement and absorb what you’ve learned with guided support. Gabriel and the team continue to meet you with their instruction and support via Zoom Q&A’s every other week.
Through the course we will show you how these seemingly opposing styles can work beautifully together. Merging the principles of abstraction with representationalism can create invigorating and magical results. You will create artwork that really sings, by striking notes of harmony and echoing tones of discord to create paintings that can radiate the power of your creativity.
“I came looking to change up and be more confident in my personal expression, and I feel that I truly achieve this. As confirmation, and just to brag a bit, my pink saxophone player won an award in a local art show and actually sold!“ — Linda Morton
Have you found YOUR style?
Learning to See students come from all walks of life! Professional artists and others have picked up their brushes for the first time. No matter where we see ourselves, this is an opportunity to transform our relationship to our art.
- Do you have great creative starts, but struggle to tell your story and make your paintings personal?
- Are you a realistic painter who feels stuck, gets caught in the details, or feels like a slave to their reference?
- Are you an abstract artist who feels trapped by the inability to capture a subject and bring representational elements into your paintings?
Learning to see for all artists, at any stage in their journey, who are ready to bring more creative freedom and expression into their art.
“This lesson blew my mind and broke open my whole world of art-making. I found a new scale to my art voice, gained so much joy and confidence that I began making bold forays into disrupted realism. In the middle of the course, I began to be juried into regional shows and winning awards, not to mention selling more work. One of my works in this new genre has been juried into the Disrupted Realism show in the Buckham Gallery, juried by author John Seed.” — May Klisch
